It was a very good stay and we enjoyed the hospitality. The host was very helpful and gave us an easy guide on what to get in the locality.

I was warmly received. All my questions were kindly answered. Juliette was able to lend me an iron, the unit was cleaned while I was at work. It's wonderfully quiet there. I can wholeheartedly recommend them.
First impression was the area. It feels like a remote area. But it's very neat. Garden and inside are good. Towels smell fresh. We did have to scrub the table outside first so we could use it. For 4 people (3 bed) we only had 2 knives and forks which were dirty. Just 2 cups for coffee. No facilities for self-catering. No stove or oven. Just a toaster, kettle and microwave. No pans or bowls available.

Dstv, wifi and service what can you ask for more. I will definitely visit again when I'm that's side of the world I traveled from cape town and got a warm welcome definitely worth every cent.
The room is exceptionally kept clean everything was in good order. I only have one complaint the single bed mattress is as hard as an ironing board.
It was an average stay, especially if you are there for work and alone.

As a matter of fact we have to go to Secunda every year for my son's dancing and we will definitely be staying here every time. The unit was very neat and the owners were so kind and hospitable. Great area and close to everything, close to the malls.
It's not the ideal place to stay with smaller kids. We had to book 2 rooms and my husband and I each had to sleep with one of them in different rooms. The fact that there isn't really a window to open for fresh air, makes you feel stuffy and cramped. There's no aircon either, so I definitely wouldn't stay there during the warmer months either. On the plus side, it was clean and neat and it's conveniently located.

The unit is secure and safe, spotless, the beds comfortable and delightfully cosy and warm on the cold evening we spent there. The kitchenette is very well equipped and the milk and home made rusks were a delightful surprise in a self-catering unit. When our GPS had failed us, Hennie unhesitatingly came to our rescue and escorted us to our accommodation. Not content with that, he checked out our GPS and programmed it in readiness for our trip in the morning. Despite having done that, early on the public holiday, Hennie and Riana insisted on putting us on the road to our destination. This kind and personal attention was most unexpected and much appreciated. We left feeling we had made new friends.
We will definitely choose 13 Hobson again if we are in Secunda.
